The Beginning of a Legacy
Desert Creek Sportsman’s Club was founded in November 2018. It is also the home of Desert Creek Gundog Kennels, which is where it all began with a man, a plan and a dog.
Tony Marquez established Desert Creek Gundog Kennels over 25 years ago where he professionally began training and producing quality hunting dogs. He has also earned many AKC titles in the hunt-test circuit. Having a professional trainer on site is a great asset for clients who need assistance with their dogs.

We were both born and raised in Arizona and grew up with hunting as an important family tradition. It is an honor to own and operate a hunt club where we can offer a safe, private place for families and friends to congregate and enjoy hunting experiences that will create long-lasting memories.
Experience & Knowledge
In addition to training sporting dogs, Tony is also a seasoned hunting guide. He has guided hunts for chukar, pheasant, dove, quail, duck and geese at several hunt clubs across the state.
He was the head guide at High Desert Hunt Club for 17 seasons. With this many years of experience comes the knowledge of what a world-class hunt should be, and we will make it our mission you leave satisfied with a desire to continue feeding the obsession.
