Duck hunting in Arizona?? Absolutely! Desert Creek Sportsman’s Club is the gateway for migrating waterfowl. Located next to the Gila River and surrounded by farm fields makes it a perfect desert oasis for ducks to feed and rest before continuing their journey south. We are the closest duck hunting club to Phoenix and only 15 minutes west of Buckeye.
We have 6 ponds near Phoenix stocked with decoys and custom duck blinds to choose from. Our blinds comfortably hold up to 4 adults. We welcome you to bring your hunting dog(s). All Arizona duck hunts are self-guided with the option of being placed with another member and their dog. All of the ponds are rotated so none are overhunted.
What kind of ducks do we have in the area? We see a large variety of waterfowl from green-winged teals, gadwells, wigeons and canvasbacks to the occasional wood duck, but the majority of ducks harvested are mallards and teals. Please remember waterfowl are wild birds and fair chase. All Arizona state and federal regulations apply.
Desert Creek Sportsman’s Club offers Phoenix duck day hunts and memberships. Memberships are limited and fill up fast, so please ask about availability. Happy duck hunting!
